The Aya Nasrallah Memorial Award in Islam and Psychology
Honoring a Legacy of Compassion, Faith, and Mental Health Advocacy
PSYCHED4U is honored to announce the launch of the Aya Nasrallah Memorial Award in Islam and Psychology, which was established to commemorate the life and legacy of Aya Nasrallah—a beloved member of our team whose radiant spirit, deep faith, and dedication to the mental health of the Muslim community continue to inspire us every day.
Aya passed away on June 5, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a devoted Muslim, a brilliant psychology doctoral student, and a tireless advocate for integrating Islamic values into mental health work. Her warmth, sincerity, and commitment touched the lives of all who knew her. Aya’s passion for helping others, especially in the field of Islamic psychology, was reflected not just in her words but in her everyday actions. This award aims to carry forward that light by supporting students who share her vision and dedication.
